Lenzburg Castle Piano Session (LCPS).

I stumbled upon a slightly untuned piano with a very squeaky sustain pedal in the «Rittersaal» (Knights' Hall) in the Lenzburg Castle while working there. Inspired by the beauty and resonance of this historic hall, I started playing.

This was a new experience for me, as I normally produce music with sample libraries, the safety of unlimited takes and quantization. It showed me how a real instrument and place can inspire.

It is far from a good performance, but it encapsulates the sound and playing style I strive for, which is why I chose to release these recordings.

For the best listening experience, I highly recommend a quiet environment and turning up the volume to a healthy amount, as I tried to keep the recordings as dynamic as possible.
